You will need to provide original documents and official translations (for documents in languages other than English), as well as copies of the documents for ICA to retain.

ICA accepts:

  • Translations provided by the embassy of the country that issued the document
  • Translations produced by a notary public in Singapore or the country that issued the document
  • Privately created translations attested by the embassy of the country that issued the document, or notarised by a notary public in Singapore or the country that issued the document.

ICA does not endorse any private translation companies or entities. Insufficient documentation may result in non-acceptance of your application. You may be required to provide additional documents to support your application.


Please have the following documents ready for your application. You will need to provide original documents and official translations (for documents in languages other than English).

From the applicant
  • A coloured digital photograph taken recently in dimensions 400 x 514 pixels. Please refer to the photo guidelines for more details.
  • Travel document
  • Marriage certificate
  • Divorce certificates or separation deed (if applicable)
  • A letter from a locally registered doctor stating the expected delivery date and whether there are any complications with the pregnancy
  • A letter from the applicant’s embassy or high commission stating that the newborn child will take the applicant’s nationality, and that it will issue the child with a valid travel document

  • Apply Online Procedure

    A local sponsor who is a Singapore citizen or PR aged 21 and above is required. He/She can log in to ICA e-Service using Singpass to sponsor the application.


    Fees

    All fees are non-refundable. Payment has to be made online using:

    • Visa or MasterCard credit/debit card,
    • American Express (AMEX) credit card,
    • Internet Direct Debit (DBS/POSB, OCBC, UOB and Standard Chartered Bank internet banking accounts in Singapore), or
    • PayNow

    Successful applicants will be notified of other applicable fees subsequently.


    Enquire Status Processing Time

    Applications will be processed within 6 weeks, provided all the required documents are submitted and in order. Some applications may take longer to process.

    You will be informed of the outcome of the LTVP application via email. You may also check the LTVP application status online at MyICA or the e-Service.
