Becoming a Long-Term Visit Pass Holder

As a foreigner, you are eligible to apply for a Long-Term Visit Pass if you are a/an:

If your Singapore citizen/PR child is aged 21 and above, he/she will need to log in to ICA e-Service using Singpass to
sponsor your application. If your Singapore citizen/PR child is aged below 21, a local sponsor who is a Singapore citizen or PR aged 21 and above is required. He/she can log in to ICA e-Service using Singpass to sponsor the application. |

| Parent or Grandparent of a child studying in Singapore on a Student’s Pass | Only one applicant (either the parent or grandparent of the child) may apply. A local sponsor who is a Singapore citizen or PR aged 21 and above is required. He/she can log in to ICA e-Service using Singpass to sponsor the application. |

ICA takes into account factors such as the individual's family ties to Singaporeans, economic contributions, qualifications, age, family profile and length of residency, to assess the applicant's ability to contribute to Singapore and integrate into our
society, as well as his or her commitment to sinking roots.
ICA has no affiliation with any external migration agency/commercial entity which claims to be the Singapore immigration specialist/consultant or partner. ICA does not support or endorse services by self-proclaimed professional immigration consultancy service providers for LTVP application.
For existing LTVP holders, please consider submitting an application for renewal if your current LTVP is expiring in less than 3 months’ time. Do note that the remaining validity of your existing LTVP will not be carried forward upon successful LTVP renewal.

Note: Applicants who are eligible to apply multiple products (for e.g. Long-Term Visit Pass and Permanent Residence) within a single application will pay an application fee of S$130. This option (if applicable) will be made known to the applicant at the start of the application.
All fees are non-refundable. Payment has to be made online using:
- Visa or MasterCard credit/debit card,
- American Express (AMEX) credit card,
- Internet Direct Debit (DBS/POSB, OCBC, UOB and Standard Chartered Bank internet banking accounts in Singapore), or
- PayNow
Applications will be processed within 6 weeks, provided all the required documents are submitted and in order. For multiple products applied for within a single application, the processing time will be based on the product with the longer processing time. Some applications may take longer to process.
An LTVP application by a foreign spouse of a Singapore citizen who did not submit the Pre-Marriage Long-Term Visit Pass Assessment (PMLA) will take up to 6 months to be processed.
You will be informed of the outcome of the LTVP application via email. You may also check the LTVP application status online at MyICA or the e-Service.
