Collect Passport

Once your application has been approved, you will be notified via SMS, email or by post. Make an appointment to collect your passport within one month of your approval. You may refer to the pink notification card/email which will be sent to you for more information such as documents to bring for your collection of passport.
You may collect your passport at:
- Post Office (if applicable); or
- ICA Building.
Uncollected passports will be cancelled after three months and the passport fee will not be refunded.
Children aged below six years old are not required to be physically present for the collection of their passports and their parents can collect on their behalf by appointments. Applicants of other ages must collect their passports in person.
No Additional Fees for Collection at Post Offices
From 1 October 2021, Singapore residents no longer need to pay SingPost an additional collection fee if they choose to collect their passport and IC at designated post offices.
If you are eligible for collection at the post offices, you will be offered the option at eAppointment.
You can refer to SingPost website to view the list of participating post offices.
For collection of your passport, please bring your:
- Current passport (if any); AND
- Digital / Physical IC.
For collection of your child's passport, please bring:
- Your child's original birth certificate;
- Your child's current passport (if any); AND
- Consenting parent's digital / physical IC OR valid passport. (SAF11B/ Home Team National Service IC/IC slip are not accepted)
There is a 4-day collection window for your passport collection.
If you fail to collect your passport within four days from your appointment date, you may reschedule another appointment to collect your passport at selected Post Offices 2 working days after the lapse of the collection window.

Operating hours are from 8.00 am to 4.30 pm on Mondays to Fridays. Closed on weekends and Public Holidays.
Please be punctual for your appointment to avoid longer-than-average waiting times on the following peak periods:
- Mondays, Fridays;
- School holidays; and
- The day before or after a public holiday.
For collection of passport, please bring the documents listed on your pink notification or notification email.
Passport collections overseas are coordinated by the Singapore Overseas Missions, which will notify you once your passport has been received. You can liaise directly with the Overseas Mission for any additional queries pertaining to the collection of your passport.
For identification and security reasons, you must be present at the Overseas Mission in person at least once, either when you complete your application or when you collect your passport. You will need to produce all required documents (as requested by Overseas Mission) when you collect your passport.
