What are the payment modes available for online applications?

The following payment modes are available for online applications:

  1. Internet Banking - Applicable for DBS/POSB, OCBC, Standard Chartered and UOB banking account holders
  2. Debit/Credit Card - Applicable for Visa/Mastercard/American Express
  3. PayNow QR - Applicable for account holders of participating banks (including DBS/POSB, MayBank, OCBC, Standard Chartered, UOB etc.)
    You may refer to www.abs.org.sg for the full list of participating banks. The PayNow QR code will be generated with a unique reference code for each payment. ICA will only accept PayNow payment via this QR code. Please do not make any payment using ICA's UEN number. Failure to pay using the QR code will lead to unsuccessful application.

Please note that your application will only be processed upon successful payment. Should you encounter difficulties during payment, you can refer to www.ica.gov.sg/technical for the contact details of the respective e-Services. Kindly provide your application number, payment reference number and relevant supporting documents (e.g. screenshot of error message) for ICA's verification.


After making payment, how do I print my receipt?

Once payment is successful, there will be a pop-up window of the receipt. Applicants are advised to save a copy of this receipt for reference. You may use the print function on the web browser to print or save the receipt.

You will not be able to reprint your receipt once you have closed the pop-up window of the receipt. If you require a receipt, please remember to print or save the receipt before closing the pop-up window.


What are the payment modes available over the counter?

The following payment modes are available over the counter:

  1. NETS Debit/Credit
  2. NETS QR (supported by DBS PayLah, OCBC Digital, UOB Mighty mobile app)
  3. NETS FlashPay
  4. Visa/Mastercard

Contactless payment via Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay are accepted at our counters.


How can I seek refund?

You may email the respective e-Services for refund request. Please refer to www.ica.gov.sg/technical for the contact details of the respective e-Services

Kindly provide your application number, payment reference number and the relevant supporting documents (e.g. screenshot of error message) in your email for ICA's verification.


What are the refund modes available?

If the refund request is approved, you will receive your refund via one of the following refund modes:

  1. Credit Refund - Applicable only for payment made via Visa/Mastercard/American Express. The refund will be made to the debit/credit card used for the payment.
  2. PayNow Refund - PayNow Refund will be via the Paynow account that is linked to your NRIC/FIN. You may refer to abs.org.sg for the full list of participating banks.
  3. Internet Bank Transfer - For bank transfer, you will be required to fill up Part II of the Direct Credit Authorisation (DCA) form. Bank's endorsement (i.e. Part III of the DCA form) will be required if:
    (a) Your bank account is a joint or a trust bank account;
    (b) You are not a Singapore Citizen/Permanent Resident and bank account is not with DBS, POSB, OCBC or UOB;   
    (c) Your bank account was opened with a different ID.

More information will be provided upon approval of your refund request.
