Recent citizens have cited privileges of being part of the Singapore family. Among these are the rapid progress in technology and education, the freedom and ease of travelling that comes with a Singapore passport and our status as a regional transportation hub, the flexibility in terms of employment, and the numerous benefits enjoyed in terms of healthcare and education. The good economic prospects, clean government, and safety and security were the other benefits that were cited. Being Singapore Citizens also have its benefits, privileges and obligations.

You may also wish to check your eligibility for Singapore Citizenship using the Naturalisation Eligibility Tool (NET) (This e-Service is currently undergoing maintenance and review.
